‘They’re really scraping’: Britain’s Got Talent recycles stripper act Forbidden Circus of Men 8 YEARS after original performance

Britain’s Got Talent recycled the same stripper act from eight years ago on Saturday night’s show.

Forbidden Circus of Men originally appeared in the series under the name Forbidden Nights.

While impressing and shocking Amanda, Alesha, Simon and Bruno, they did the same in 2015.

Although the dancers were different in the new series, the same choreographer Leigh Coda starred in both routines, a source told the Sun.

The source added: ‘The surprised reactions seemed a bit trite, especially since the judges have seen it all before.

They continued, “Producers should have almost no more acts. It feels like they’re really scraping.’

A spokesperson for Britain’s Got Talent said: ‘The show is open to anyone, regardless of whether an act has auditioned before.

‘This act featured a different cast, performed a different routine and thrilled the audience and the jury.’

It comes after claims last year that one in four acts on Britain’s Got Talent have been ‘recycled’ from other shows or have links with Simon and other show talent.

Of the 60 acts seen on television in 2022, 15 had either appeared in another series from the Got Talent franchise, linked to head judge Simon or someone else linked to the shows, or already “professional”, according to The sun.

The likes of American singer Loren Allred, 32, is the voice of the hit song Never Enough from the 2017 film The Greatest Showman, while soul singer Mel Day, 77, achieved success as the lead singer of JALN Band in the US and UK with the song Disco Music (I Like It) from 1976.

Meanwhile, Titan the Robot appeared on BGT hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s show Saturday Night Takeaway in 2021, while strongman JD Anderson appeared on their program Red and Black, while the American powerhouse previously also auditioned for Simon on America’s Got Talent.

French dance troupe Les Sancho previously finished third on their home country version of BGT called La France A Un Incroyable Talent after earning the Golden Buzzer on the show.

However, a TV source told MailOnline at the time: ‘It would be unfair to say that these contestants are household names. Some have had some degree of success, but you still have to look them up to know who they are.’

While another source told MailOnline at the time: ‘Lockdown has been tough on everyone. The entertainment industry has been on hiatus for the past two years.

“So we shouldn’t penalize these people for trying to better themselves and use every platform offered to showcase their talent.”

A spokesperson for Britain’s Got Talent told MailOnline: ‘All acts are entering the competition in hopes of taking their careers to the next level and helping to reach a massive new audience that Britain’s Got Talent is bringing in.

“As we all know, the pandemic has impacted so many lives, especially those who work in the entertainment industry, and it is wrong to deny these people the chance to showcase their talents and entertain the nation, ultimately performing for royalty . at the Royal Variety Performance.

“As always, Britain’s Got Talent is open to everyone.”
