Britain’s Got Talent fans moved to tears by ballroom dancer Nathan

Viewers of Britain’s Got Talent immediately became fans of ballroom dancer Nathan when he took the stage to audition on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old auditioned performed a routine as part of a Latin duo with his dance partner Joanne, 28, to Shakira’s 2016 song Try Everything.

And fans of the show were just as thrilled with his sassy personality as they were with his audition as his moment unfolded on screen.

Before arriving for his audition in Manchester, Nathan and Joanne were visited by judge Alesha Dixon, who told him he had been nominated for the show by his dance teacher, prompting him to give Alesha a sarcastic look when she asked if he was willing to appear on the show.

Nathan stepped onto the stage for his audition wearing a black shirt adorned with sparkling crystals and matching pants, informing the judges that he would be performing the Cha Cha Cha, prompting new panelist Bruno Tonioli to declare, “Yes, honey !’ before a brutal exchange between the pair ensued.

It comes after Simon revealed fellow judge Bruno Tonioli was ‘mortified’ after making THAT blunder with his golden buzzer at the premiere of Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday.

The former Strictly judge, 67, got into trouble when he excitedly pressed his golden buzzer for Ugandan dance act Ghetto Kids before they finished their performance.

The judges are supposed to wait until the end of the act to decide if they want to use the special buzzer, but Bruno got too excited and sent the episode into chaos.

Reflecting on the hilarious moment, music mogul Simon, 63, told MailOnline exclusively: ‘Well, that was pretty quick! It was the second or third day.

“I laughed my ass off and thought, ‘You sure haven’t seen the show, have you?’ And then I thought, “Actually, this is brilliant, because it’s never happened before.”

And the act didn’t seem to care. They were happy. I was happy for the group because they really deserved it.

‘And when I looked at Bruno’s face, he was happy. When someone ran up to him and said, “Well, you should do it at the end,” he was mortified! I said, ‘It doesn’t matter, Bruno. You just gave them the Golden Buzzer. Who cares?’

Bruno also talked about the fiasco, saying, ‘I saw them thinking, ‘Actually, this is genius’. And all I had to do was press the gold buzzer. Now, holding up my hands, I now realize I had to wait until after they performed to press it! I just felt it in my bones and went for it!

Simon laughed hysterically. Frankly, I had no idea. No one ever really explained that process to me. I only knew I had a gold buzzer, but they never told me when to press it!’

It all turned to chaos when Bruno pressed his golden buzzer midway through the act’s performance.

He made his debut on the ITV talent show alongside Simon, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon where he soon found himself stuck in enjoying the entertainment on offer.

He excitedly pressed his golden buzzer for Ugandan dance act Ghetto Kids before they finished their performance.

While it is customary for the judges or presenters Ant and Dec to press this button after the performance, the talented orphans were showered with golden confetti as they danced on stage.

The group, while elated by the golden buzzer, plowed through the performance and put on a great show – despite barely being able to see through the confetti.

The jaw-dropping moment left both the audience and Bruno’s fellow judges in shock, with Simon stating that this had ‘never happened before’.

Watching the scenes unfold at home, viewers were quick to react to Bruno’s blunder, with many stating that they loved the chaos he brought to the show.

‘I’m glad Bruno pressed his buzzer when he did that, that was too funny!!’ one person noted.

“That was such a great golden buzzer moment. Bruno turns out to be a mess, but I actually kind of like it,” commented another.

A third tweeted, “Bruno’s mishaps brought #BGT back to life by randomly pressing buzzers, love him.”

It’s what happens when you assume the new judge has seen the show before. Didn’t hire him because he’s a fan and Bruno broke all the rules. LOVE it’ said a fourth.

Britain’s Got Talent returns this Saturday on ITV and ITVX at 8pm.
