Two men were rushed to hospital, one of whom suffered a stab wound to the back after an alleged brawl between a group of people.

Emergency services were called to Russell Street, in Brisbane’s West End, after reports of an altercation between a group of people and the occupants of a vehicle at around 2am on Sunday.

Upon arrival, police found a man with serious stab wounds to his back.

He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

A second man sustained injuries to his head and arm.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.

Police have since established a crime scene in Russell St and are investigating the cause of the fight.
