Two thieves were caught on Tesla car dashcam raiding Martin Green’s garage in Brisbane on Thursday morning.
The thieves, a man and a woman, stole $5,000 worth of bicycles and $1,500 worth of ski equipment before fleeing the scene.
said Mr. Green Courier mail that he saw a Nissan Qushaqi pull up before two people got out and entered the basement of the apartment.
“We’re not sure how they gained initial access, but they continued to break into storage cages and bike racks,” he said.
In the camera vision, the man is seen trying to pick a lock on the security cage with a metal rod and a crowbar.
A reward is being offered to anyone with information that could lead to the recovery of the victims’ belongings.
“So my missus would like to offer $1,000 for information leading to the return of the items or the arrest of the thief,” Mr Green said.
Police have confirmed they are aware of the incident and responded to reports of a break-in in Newstead Avenue at 3.20am the same morning.
A police spokesman said no arrests have been made at this stage.
“In the footage provided to the police, we could see them loading the surfboard and skis and stuff onto the roof of the car,” they said.
