A 16-year-old boy is facing 75 charges over an alleged citywide crime spree he documented on social media.
Such was the scale and scope of the alleged crimes that four specialist police units and a helicopter were deployed to track down the teenager.
The teenager was finally arrested in the south-west Brisbane suburb of Inala on Thursday after Queensland officers searched a number of properties in the area.

Police allege the boy committed a series of burglaries and property thefts in Brisbane’s eastern, western and inner-city suburbs in recent months.
Charges against him include entering a dwelling and committing, trespassing, unlawful possession of a motor vehicle (posting on social media), attempting to enter a dwelling and committing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, theft and attempted entering a building on purpose.
Assistant Commissioner for Youth Crime Andrew Massingham congratulated the units involved in tracking down the suspect.
“The co-ordinated response to these prolific property crimes is commendable and reflects the determination of officers, who work hard to hold young offenders to account,” Deputy Commissioner Massingham said.
“We want the community to know that police are listening and taking proactive action to arrest those serious offenders who endanger the safety of the community.”
The boy was taken into custody after one court appearance and will face court proceedings on February 29
On Friday, the teenager appeared in the Brisbane Children’s Court on February 16, where the matter was adjourned.
He was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear on February 29.
