A woman who was caught kissing a married man before being mowed down in a BMW by his jealous wife is suing the driver for $350,000.
Zowie Noring claims she has sustained severe physical and psychological injuries since she was hit by Christie Lee Kennedy’s vehicle in Brisbane in March 2021.
Ms Noring was mowed down after she was seen kissing Kennedy’s cheating husband David Larkin.
Kennedy, who pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and common assault, was sentenced to a nine-month suspended prison sentence by Brisbane District Court in April.
Ms Noring, 33, has now filed a civil suit in the same court, claiming she suffered injuries to her right and left knee, coccyx and cervical spine and is a victim of post-traumatic stress disorder.

As a result, she says she is in constant pain and will need total knee replacement and coccygectomy surgery to remove her tailbone.
She also claims she suffers from crippling depression and anxiety as a result of the incident, with her future earning diminishing “due to Mrs. Kennedy’s negligence.”
Together with her insurer Alliance Australia, Ms Noring, who worked as an administrative assistant at a repair in Brisbane, is seeking $5,000 in past economic losses and $200,000 for future economic losses.
They also claim $5,000 in past special damages, including medical expenses, $37,500 for future expenses, $15,452 for past care, and $70,000 for future care.
Ms Noring’s lawyer, Sophie McKenzie of Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, said her client believed she intended to die in the “incredibly traumatic” incident.
“It was incredibly traumatic, she thought she was going to die,” Ms McKenzie said.
“The reality is that my client will suffer for the rest of her life, which will cause her severe financial loss and impact her ability to care for her young daughter,” Ms McKenzie said.

Kennedy has not yet commented on the lawsuit.
In March last year, Kennedy used Mr Larkin’s phone to track him down in Brisbane’s northern suburb of Wavell Heights, where she saw him kissing Mrs Noring by the side of the road.
Footage of the incident shared by Channel Nine shows Kennedy driving towards the unsuspecting couple in her BMW SUV.
The vehicle is then seen crashing into the par, sending them both sprawled into the bitumen.
Kennedy then got out of her car and punched Ms. Noring in the face, calling her a “fat moll” and a “slut” before getting back in the car and driving off.
Ms Noring said she thought Larkin had ended his relationship with Kennedy.
In imposing the suspended sentence on Kennedy, the judge said it was fair to say Kennedy was shocked by what she witnessed, even though she had suspected her husband of cheating.
“You are obviously an excellent employee and a very good mother and I am truly sorry that you committed this transgression, but I firmly believe that this transgression is out of your character and that it is unlikely that you would be put in prison again with something like this.” will go wrong,” the judge said. said Paul Smith.
Kennedy was ordered to pay $5,000 each in compensation to her ex-husband and Mrs. Noring.
The court ruled that the two were physically and emotionally damaged by the event.
