Brisbane Broncos star Ezra Mam has been drug tested by Queensland police after being involved in a car crash with an Uber driver on Friday afternoon.

Queensland Police and the NRL Integrity Unit are both investigating the incident which saw Mam admitted to hospital as a precaution. No one was seriously injured in the incident.

Mom was reportedly moving at the time of the accident.

Police are waiting for the results of the roadside drug test. No allegations of misconduct have been made against Mam.

“Police are investigating a two-vehicle road traffic accident in Bardon this evening, October 18,” QPS said in a statement.

Initial investigations indicate that a Ford Ranger business was traveling north-east along Simpsons Road at around 5.20pm when it struck a Toyota Camry traveling in the opposite direction, near the intersection of The Drive.

‘The first roadside drug tests were carried out on the utility driver, a 21-year-old man from Ipswich; However, the police are waiting for the results.

“No one was seriously injured and the investigation continues.”
