A desperate search is underway for the driver of a truck involved in a fatal accident.
CCTV footage shows a white tractor driving away after colliding with a motorcycle at 5:25 a.m. Friday, five kilometers from Brisbane airport.
The crash occurred at Viola Place, near the airport terminal in an industrial area.
Emergency services found the 48-year-old Kippa Ring motorcyclist dead when they arrived at the scene.
Police have released footage showing the white truck driving away after officers tried to stop the driver.

The police suspect that the truck driver did not know that he had hit the motorcycle
Police are calling on the public to help identify the truck so they can talk to the driver, who may be able to help with their investigation.
“We are not sure if the driver realized he had hit the motorcyclist, so we are trying to find the driver,” a police spokesman said.
“The forensic crash unit is currently on scene to investigate the crash.”
The truck has a low loader and transported wood or pipes.
People with information that could lead to the identification of the truck are asked to contact the police.
