Shock jock Neil Breen sensationally leaves his 4BC radio show live on air: ‘It’s going to be quite upsetting for a lot of listeners’

Brisbane 4BC radio host Neil Breen stepped down from his live broadcast show on Friday.

The shock jock, who hosts 4BC’s weekday afternoon show Brisbane Live, told listeners he would not be returning to his show in an emotional announcement.

He said it had been a “tough three years” since the Covid-19 pandemic, and he wanted to prioritize his family.

Before the pandemic, the radio host lived in Brisbane five days a week, traveling back to Sydney on weekends to be with his wife and children.

When interstate travel became restricted, Breen attempted to move his family to Queensland, but it proved difficult.
