Brighton agree with Lille for Carlos Baleba after being offered a £25 million deal.

The 19-year-old was on the bench for Lille against Lorient on Sunday.

Baleba could replace Moises Caicedo, who joined Chelsea for £100 million plus £15 million in add-ons.

Born in Cameroon, the prospect is a product of the Lille academy.

Baleba has made a total of 23 appearances for Lille since his debut in August 2022.

As one Premier League scout noted, “Very little is missing from his game. He has speed, technical ability, aggression and intelligence. He will also develop better physically, because he is only 19.’
