‘It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Luke Newton, who plays my love interest, is so great.

‘It was terrifying. I’m an Irish woman, and any Irish woman would feel like she can’t do this. And then I went and realized: it’s my job, so I can do it better. I had an amazing partner and it was terrifying, but really liberating. At the end I was exhausted.’
The third series of the hit Regency novel, which follows the eight Bridgerton siblings as they try to find love, continues the love story of Penelope and Colin.

In the final episode of series two, following the eldest Bridgerton son, Penelope overheard old friend Colin’s snide comments to the other gentlemen about her and decided to finally give up her unrequited feelings for him.
