Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton warn fans about their spicy love scenes in new season: ‘Don’t watch it with your nan!’
Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton have warned fans not to watch the upcoming season of Bridgerton with their grandparents.
The co-stars appeared on Australia’s The Sunday Project this weekend and opened up about their love scenes in the third series, in which their characters, Penelope and Colin, explore their budding romance.
“Ah, please don’t watch it with your grandma!” Nicola told the show’s host after being asked how spicy those scenes get.
‘My mother saw some of them the other day and I skipped quite a bit of it. Maybe if you give them Bailey’s before things get good,” she added with a laugh.
‘I don’t think we would watch it with our grandmothers. That’s not going to happen,” Luke said.

‘We don’t want to do it. We’ve seen it now and that’s why we’re going, absolutely not!’ Nicola agreed.
‘It’s very romantic this season. It’s nice to finally finish the story. “Fans have been waiting a long time to see their friends and loved ones play (storyline),” Luke added.
The pair walked the red carpet at the Australian launch of Bridgerton season three in Bowral, NSW, earlier on Sunday.
The Irish actress opted for a sparkling black dress as she posed with co-star Luke Newton in the grounds of Milton Park Country House.

The dress had a plunging neckline that showed off plenty of bust and flared skirts that added a romantic silhouette.
Subtle sparkles throughout the dress caught the light and the dress fell onto the star’s shoulders, giving a hint of skin.
Luke made a neat appearance; the affectionate couple held hands as they posed next to each other.
He opted for a beige trench coat over a semi-sheer cream shirt and wide trousers to match his jacket.
