Season 4’s story will be led by Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton, whose love story will take center stage.
Yerin Ha joins the cast as Sophie Baek, Benedict’s romantic interest, and the two posed together during the table read, hinting at a possible love story that will unfold on screen.
Other photos captured the cast in good spirits, as Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich) and Victor Alli (John Stirling) smiled as they ran through their ranks.
Newcomers Katie Leung (Lady Araminta Gun) and Isabella Wei (Posy Li) took a happy selfie, while Gemmell posed next to her on-screen daughters, Hannah Dodd (Francesca Sterling) and Florence Hunt (Hyacinth Bridgerton) in another photo.

“Rejoice, for it is the season of joy and merriment!” the streamer wrote next to the post.
Following the conclusion of Bridgerton’s third season – which focused on the pairing of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton – the upcoming series will turn the spotlight on Benedict, Bridgerton’s second-oldest sibling.
Netflix confirmed: “Despite his older and younger brothers both happily married, Benedict is reluctant to settle down.
“That is, until a captivating woman catches Benedict’s eye at Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball.
“Although Benedict knows his love interest as only the Lady in Silver, she is actually Sophie, a resourceful girl with secrets and dreams of her own.”
Before taking on the lead role this season, Luke said of his character, “Benedict has always been a little bit lost – or free, depending on how you want to look at it. But now he’s trying to find something more solid within himself.’
Creator Shonda Rhymes added, “He’s a charming man trying to find his way. He is very nice and funny. I’m glad everyone is watching him.’
Netflix also recently released a short video sharing the announcement of Luke accepting Benedict’s high profile future.

It shows him opening a door and being given a suit to wear to a masquerade ball – a hint at where his journey in the series will begin.
Although no release date has been announced yet, it is confirmed that the season will consist of 8 parts and will take approximately 8 months to complete filming.
Speaking to THR, showrunner Jess Brownell said: ‘We’re working on getting the seasons out faster, but it takes eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language.
“It also takes a very long time to write, so we’re at about a two-year pace, trying to speed up, but somewhere in that ballpark.”
After promising Bridgerton fans the ‘silliest season yet’, they were left somewhat disappointed by the lack of Regency adventures in part one of season three.
Yet show bosses have more than delivered with part two of the period drama, with episode five of the series featuring a six-minute sex scene between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Nicola previously revealed: ‘I think we’ve won the sass for this series!’ as she teased that she and Luke had damaged the set with their on-screen romp.
Telling Entertainment Weekly: “We broke a piece of furniture during a scene. It’s kind of like a stunt where they say, ‘Okay, we’re going to do this, this and this.’
