A bride has gone viral after sharing the heartwarming story of how her father spent eight months refurbishing her childhood backyard for her outdoor wedding.
Nina Salci and her husband, Alejandro Franco, were married on December 16, 2022 at her family’s home in Miami, Florida, under the same cabana where she marked many of her other childhood milestones.
The creator of wedding content documented the run-up to their big day on TikTok, where her bridal content has earned her over 121,000 followers.
Salci, 27, captured hearts when she was one compilation video of her father tirelessly fixing up their backyard ahead of her wedding.

“POV you told your dad you wanted to get married in our childhood backyard, so he spent eight months watering, building, pruning and planting to make the yard look exactly how I envisioned it for my big day,” she wrote in the onscreen text.
The heartwarming footage begins with Salci’s father on a ladder repairing the cabana. Then he has to pull weeds, water the garden, trim the trees and hedges and power wash the deck.
“Dad, if you see this… you are my hero,” she wrote in the caption.
The 25-second clip has been viewed 20.1 million times since it was shared in January. It was also reposted on Tyla’s Instagram page this week.
Thousands of users flocked to the comments to praise her dad and name him “Father of the Year.”
“The first man who loved you,” one wrote.

“So many incredible memories here. I’ll let it all sink in before I make any more on the big day.”
Salci shared some videos of her backyard wedding ceremony, which was inspired by the Tuscan garden.
Her wedding planner designed an olive oil wall that doubled as a seating chart. Each mason jar was labeled with a guest’s name and the name of the table they were sitting at.
