Christy Young has revealed her intimate relationship with her Canterbury Bulldogs star husband Max King after abstaining from sex during their engagement.
The couple, who are both Christians, exchanged vows on Wednesday at Curzon Hall in Sydney, surrounded by family and friends.
Following their special day, the model, 25, revealed the newlyweds are enjoying their new relationship as husband and wife.
“We’d like to keep some private things to ourselves, but let’s just say we’re enjoying the fruits of our marriage,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
Christy went on to say that the couple would like to have children in the future.

‘Who knows, maybe a baby on the honeymoon!’ she added.
Christy and Max abstained from sex during their engagement.
“We’re so loud and proud of our faith… it’s never been something we’ve shied away from because it’s so important to us,” Christy said on Hughesy, Ed and Erin on 2DayFM in March.
“We talked about it (being celibate) early on…on the first or second date.”

Christy laughed as she described how their pastor set her up with Max, and she believes the celibate couple must have helped his game on the football field.
“We met in church. I lived on the Gold Coast and he was sitting in front of me… we didn’t talk that day but the pastor set us up. If you want a good guy, find him in the church,” she laughed.

“When (sex) isn’t at the forefront of everything, it’s like we’ve just been able to have such good conversations and build our relationship, and have such a good support system for each other.”
‘It (celibacy) really helps his game, because we just have such a good foundation in our relationship.’
She also admitted that she was once hesitant about their relationship given Max’s profession.
“When I met him, I thought, ‘oh, you’re a football player, red flag, what have I gotten myself into,'” she said.
“We’d like to keep some private things to ourselves, but let’s just say we’re enjoying the fruits of our marriage,” she told Daily Mail Australia
‘Sure (his teammates are supportive)… but when we first started dating, they were like, ‘as if it was’ (abstaining from sex).
“The Bible says, ‘deny the flesh and God will bless you,’ and we have seen such fruit from that.”
“I feel so blessed to have met Max… we are pieces of a puzzle that fit together and it’s all up to God,” said the glamor model.
