Bride-to-be disappointed with ‘sad’ curls her hairdresser gave her during a trial for her upcoming nuptials

Bride-to-be disappointed with ‘sad’ curls her hairdresser gave her during a trial for her upcoming nuptials

  • Bride Florence did a trail run with her wedding stylist
  • She was left with “sad” curls contrary to what she wanted

A bride-to-be has issued a warning to others planning a wedding to always do a hair and makeup trace before the big day.

Florence wanted glamorous Hollywood waves for her wedding and showed a hairstylist a series of reference photos before booking a trail.

However, Florence left the appointment with “sad,” tousled, loose curls.

She said the incident showed how important it can be to test drive hairdressers and makeup artists so you’re not stuck with a failed beauty look for your wedding.

Thousands were shocked by the “terrible” work the stylist did and were relieved that Florence opted for a trial for her upcoming nuptials in October.

The stylist tried to replicate the hair, but Florence’s blonde locks ended up looking messy with little volume.

“I can’t stress enough the importance of hair and makeup trials…. YOU NEED A TRIAL OF HAIR AND MAKEUP! And sometimes, no matter how nice someone is, you can’t hire them,” the bride writes with the clip.

In another video Florence said she “could have done a better job myself” and showed a different take on the styling job right after leaving the appointment she paid $30 for.

Thousands were surprised by Florence’s wedding hair loss and it sparked a heated argument in the comments.

“The way my jaw dropped,” one viewer replied.

“They got you DIRTY,” laughed another while a third said, “The way I gasped…nothing could have prepared me for this.”

“The good news is it’s a process and not the day, right?!” added a fourth.

However, many were quick to point out that hair extensions are usually necessary for the style Florence was going for and $30 was too cheap for a stylist to achieve the look.

“Hollywood waves are such a difficult style to master along with loads of added extensions which is why it’s so important to check your stylists page for photos etc of their own work,” one commented.

“This is a special kind of set. It takes about two hours,” said another, while a third thought Florence’s hair was “too thin” for the style.

“I hear you – my hair seems thin from whatever she’s done to it, but I promise you there’s no room for extensions with how thick my hair already is,” Florence replied.

However, some weren’t having it, saying the stylist should have told Florence if she couldn’t live up to her expectations.

“Even though her hair is too thin for this, that should have been communicated!” exclaimed a woman.

‘I have medium fine hair and my stylist was able to create this look for me for my wedding. Lots of product and pests. Good thing this was just a trial,” wrote a second.
