Drake Bell alleges sexual abuse by Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck when he was 15 in new documentary

Former Nickelodeon actor Drake Bell is accusing dialogue coach and actor Brian Peck of sexually assaulting him when he was a minor in an upcoming docuseries.

Bell will appear in Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, in which he will speak out about being sexually abused when he was just 15, according to Business insidera producer of the Investigation Discovery series.

The former child actor, now 37, was a popular star on the Children’s Network in the late ’90s and 2000s, during which he co-led the series Drake & Josh and appeared on The Amanda Show, which starred the troubled former actress. Amanda Bynes.

Peck, 63, worked as a dialogue coach on The Amanda Show and the sketch comedy show All That, and he was convicted in 2004 of sexually assaulting a minor.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Nickelodeon for comment.

Bell looks directly into the camera as the lights come on and the music swells, but the video then ends abruptly.

Actors who have worked on Nickelodeon shows, including All That’s Giovonnie Samuels, express shock when they appear to reference Peck’s history of sexual abuse.

Bell was a supporting actor on The Amanda Show from 1999 to 2002, and Peck worked with the actors during that period.

Bell later graduated as co-headliner of his own series, Drake & Josh, in which he starred with future Oppenheimer actor Josh Peck.

The series ran from 2004 to 2007.

In August 2003, Brian Peck was arrested and charged with nearly a dozen charges related to allegations that he sexually assaulted an unnamed minor.

Peck then pleaded no contest to performing a lewd act on a 14 or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16.

According to Business Insider, Bell is now revealing that he was the anonymous minor in that case.

Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison after his conviction and in October 2004 he was ordered to register as a sex offender.

In 2015, DailyMail.com revealed that Peck still worked on the Disney show and a horror film in high school despite his conviction.

He was only prohibited from having direct contact with children, which meant he could still be hired in other capacities, even for projects involving mostly children and teenagers.

Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com at the time revealed that Peck had visited the underage actor at his home for acting coaching when he abused him. He was arrested after the young actors’ parents called the police.

Peck ultimately pleaded no contest to two counts of the original eleven charges after the other charges were dropped.

He still has minor acting credits and worked as a dialogue coach in the 2000s and 2010s. According to him, his last credited acting appearance was in 2018 IMDb.

It is unclear whether the people who hired Peck knew he was a convicted sex offender, although his IMDb page lists his criminal conviction.

The four-part series is expected to focus specifically on shows from Dan Schneider, who created the hit shows Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, The Amanda Show, Victorious, Zoey 101 and iCarly, as well as writing and producing several others. even occasionally acting as an actor.

Child actors and crew members spoke earlier Business insider about disturbing sexualized scenes that Schneider wrote for some of his series, and he is said to have encouraged his young female stars to wear revealing clothing on camera.

The showrunner was also accused of repeatedly requesting massages at work, according to a 2000 gender discrimination and hostile workplace lawsuit from a writer on The Amanda Show. The lawsuit was settled out of court.
