Brian Austin Green slams critics calling him a ‘bad dad’… after defending ex-wife Megan Fox for dressing their sons in ‘girl clothes’

Brian Austin Green hit back on Thursday to claims he is a “bad dad.”

The 49-year-old actor took to his Instagram story to respond to a social media user’s recent comment after defending his ex-wife, Megan Fox, when she faced backlash over her parenting style.

“People like that have gone crazy,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum wrote after the former couple were criticized for dressing their three sons in “girl clothes.”

“Why anyone thinks it’s morally okay to attack people like this they’ve never met is crazy,” continued the Beautiful Disaster star – who denied claims the Transformers actress is “forcing” their kids to to dress a certain way.

‘Let’s do better as a society.’ added the Terminator vet. “We owe it to future generations.”

Green – who is a father to a total of five children – and Fox share and co-parent three sons: Noah, 10, Bodhi, nine, and Journey, six.

He also has son Kassius, 21, with his ex-girlfriend and actress, Vanessa Marcil, 54.

In June 2022, he welcomed his fifth child, Zane, with his current girlfriend – Dancing With The Stars’ Sharna Burgess, 37.

Over the weekend, the rapper refuted “completely false” claims that his ex-wife – whom he was married to from 2010 to 2021 – lets their sons dress in feminine clothing against their will.

Green issued a statement to TMZ after Robby Starbuck, who was running for US Congress in 2022, claimed to have witnessed two of the couple’s children say “they were forced by their mother to wear girlish clothes while their babysitter tried to comfort them’.

The SoCal native shot down the accusation, saying, “It’s a totally bogus story.”

“There are only a few people in their world who can actually verify whether a story like this is true and I can tell you with absolute certainty that it isn’t,” said the television personality.

In 2017, the …with Brian Austin Green podcast host had also spoken out to defend his then-four-year-old son, Noah, for wanting to wear dresses.

“He’s not hurting anyone,” he said at the time.

“I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses,” Green said Hollywood pipeline. “To them I say: I don’t care.

“He’s four,” he continued. “And if he wants to wear it, he’ll wear it.”
