Brian Austin Green shows off his freshly shaved head in Instagram selfie: ‘It’s for work’

Brian Austin Green revealed that he shaved his head in a post shared on his Instagram account on Monday.

The 50-year-old artist flashed a slight smile as he shared his new look with his nearly 730,000 followers.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star, whose former costar recently sent him a birthday note, also wrote a short message in the caption of his post that read, “Cut fresh. Thought I’d share. It’s for work.’

Green did not specify which of his future projects would require him to cut his hair.

The actor is currently preparing for the release of the second season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, in which he will appear.

The program is based on the British program SAS: Who Dares Wins, which originally aired on Channel 4.

The show follows various entertainment industry figures as they undergo intensive military training.

The program’s first season cast included Dwight Howard, Mel B, and Jamie Lynn Spears.

Professional athlete Carli Lloyd and former Bachelorette lead Hannah Brown eventually passed all stages of the competition.

Variety revealed that Green had joined the cast of the program last July.

The actor will be joined by figures such as Blac Chyna, Jojo Siwa and Tom Sandoval during the new season of the show.

The artist promoted his upcoming appearance on the program by sharing several images on his Instagram account last month.

Green wrote that working on the show was “absolutely brutal” in his post’s caption.

The actor showed off his previously dyed hair in a series of images shared on his Instagram account in July.

In the snaps, the artist’s dyed blonde hair fell against his clothes as he celebrated his 50th birthday.

Green was also joined by his partner, Sharna Burgess, and several of his family members on the special occasion.

The artist and professional dancer also played with two of his children at the party.
