Brian Austin Green praises Megan Fox and refutes claims by another ex Vanessa that she raised their son
Brian Austin Green has praised his ex-wife Megan Fox while questioning his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil’s claim that she raised their son Kassius alone.
It started when the 54-year-old actress answered a fan’s question about whether co-parenting has been difficult.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she replied, “We didn’t and we’re not co-parents.” I raised my son alone.
Along with her response, she shared a flashback of her and Kassius, now 20, from when he was a little boy.
The Beverly Hills 90210 actor, 49, captured the post, writing: ‘Megan and I [busted] our asses to give Kass a complete childhood [because] his mother was rarely there.’

She began the post by saying, “So, I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to read continuous lies from a 50+ woman on social media like she’s still in high school.”
The disgruntled father-of-five continued: “She has never in her life been someone to walk the walk.”
Addressing his 710,000 followers on the platform, he added: “Talk is cheap. Megan and me [busted] our asses to give Kass a complete childhood [because] her mom was rarely there.
‘I guess that’s why she posts so much about him now. When is she going to leave?’, he added with a laughing and crying emoji.
It is not the first time that the former couple has brought their family drama to the public.
In October of last year, Brian slammed his ex Vanessa after learning of her alleged side of their son’s custody battle.
“I just heard my ex say that I spent years taking her to court and asking for child support. How was I the defendant then? she posted on Instagram.
Green shared a portion of an alleged legal document showing Marcil labeled as the ‘petitioner’ and himself as the ‘respondent’ to support his claims.
Like father, like son: Brian’s eldest son, Kassius, 20, recently worked with him on a western called Rufus.
Bring receipts: Last year, Brian lashed out at his ex Vanessa after learning her alleged version of their custody battle over their now-20-year-old son Kassius.
Brian also posted photos showing his mended relationship with his son Kassius, following claims made by Vanessa years ago that she had cut her son out of her life.
He posted two snaps of them filming a movie called Rufus, calling it a “great experience.”
“Working with Kass on a movie called “Rufus” What a great experience!!!” he captioned a take. A second take of the father-son duo on set was captioned: “Another of me and Kass from the Rufus set.”
In 2018, Vanessa alleged that Brian had cut off all contact with their son five years earlier after failing to win full custody of their son during a protracted legal battle.
In an Instagram post, the actress alleged that Green and his then-wife Megan Fox “decided to completely cut Kass out of their lives and the lives of their younger siblings.” Kass has never met her younger brother and is not allowed to know where her biological father, her stepmother, and her three younger siblings live.
But in 2020, Marcil suggested that Green had mended her relationship with Kassius, who had visited her father on the set of BH90210 a year earlier.
“My son was finally invited back into his father’s life and finally got to meet his little brother and finally see his other two siblings again,” she posted on Instagram. “My son is also an amazing big brother.”
Marcil and Green, who co-starred in Beverly Hills 90210 from 1998 to 2000, never married. They welcomed Kassius in March 2002.
Marcil, whose first marriage was to actor Corey Feldman from 1989 to 1993, married a second time to actor Carmine Giovinazzo in 2010. She filed for divorce two years later.
Green has since divorced Megan Fox, who is now engaged to music artist Machine Gun Kelly, and they share Noah, 10, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 6. In June, Green welcomed a son named Zane with his girlfriend Sharna Burgess.
