Brian Austin Green opens up on 90210 co-star Ian Ziering’s brutal attack in Hollywood by a biker gang while praising him for fending them off

Brian Austin Green talks about Ian Ziering, his Beverly Hills 90210 co-star, who managed to fend off a motorcycle gang with a bizarre attack last weekend.

Ziering, 59, was driving along Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday when his vehicle was struck by one of the many smaller motorized mini bikes.

As he got out of his vehicle to assess the damage, several motorcyclists confronted him in the middle of the street, which was captured on video by onlookers.

Despite several fists flying his way, he managed to escape the brawl relatively unscathed.

Now his co-star Green, 50, is speaking out, taking to his Instagram Story on Tuesday afternoon to speak about the incident.

“Hey, so I haven't had a chance to comment on this at all. My son Ian Ziering got into a fistfight on Hollywood Boulevard with like five guys, and it looked like he was beating them, doing it, doing his thing,” Green began.

'He's a monster. He is clearly incredibly fit. “I wouldn't advise anyone to fight people, especially right now in this climate,” Green added.

'But you know what? It all turned out fine. Z, I love you brother, you're a beast, good for you,” Green concluded.

Ziering, 59, took his Instagram on Monday to share details of the “alarming incident” and update fans on the status of his 10-year-old daughter, Penna, who was in his car at the time of the altercation.

“While stuck in traffic, my car was aggressively approached by one of these drivers, leading to a disturbing confrontation,” he began.

'To assess any damage, I got out of my car. This action unfortunately escalated into a physical altercation, which I went through to protect myself.”

A video of the violent episode shows the star clashing with four motorcyclists who exchanged punches and kicks before sprinting across the street on Hollywood Boulevard.

“I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unharmed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing audacity of such groups to disrupt public safety and peace,” Ziering added on Instagram.

'This situation highlights a wider problem of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behaviour.'

“As a citizen and as a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this type of behavior, which causes fear and chaos, while the response from the authorities appears inadequate,” he continued, before urging law enforcement to “decisively to take action'. '

“I have always been an advocate of standing up to harassment and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety.”

He concluded, “I am grateful for the support of my family, friends and fans during this time.

“In challenging moments like these, the strength and unity of our community are of utmost importance. Happy new year.'

Ziering shares equal custody of Penna, as well as 12-year-old daughter Mia, with ex-wife Erin Ludwig. The former couple married in 2010, separated in 2019, and their divorce was finalized in 2022.
