Brentford Q&A LIVE: Is Ivan Toney likely to leave and who could replace talismanic striker? As Kieran Gill answers your questions
KIERAN GILL: It’s hard not to like Thomas Frank. He also carries some cojones as he is not shy about talking about his tactical approach.
Every time Brentford have played one of the Premier League’s big teams this season, they have used three at the back. Every time they met someone else, he used a back four.
So for the visit of Arsenal it will be a 3-5-2 formation, as Brentford want to create overload on whichever side of the pitch the ball is on.
Here’s the long list below for anyone nerdy enough to have an interest in formations like me:
Brentford’s defensive line-up this season:
vs Tottenham (back three)
vs Crystal Palace (back four)
vs Bournemouth (back four)
vs Newcastle (back three)
vs Nottm Forest (back four)
vs Liverpool (back three)
