Brendan Fevola reveals why he isn’t marrying Alex Fevola on their next trip

Brendan Fevola has revealed why he’s not remarrying his makeup artist fiancé Alex during their upcoming trip abroad.

The radio star, 42, revealed to the Announce sun he wanted to elope during their trip, but Alex put the brakes on the idea for the couple.

“We’re going overseas during the mid (radio) research break and I said to Al, why don’t we get married where we’re going and she said no,” Brendan said.

The couple married in 2005, but are now engaged to be married again.

“So I guess we’ll just go for it,” he said. “We are already married, people pretend you are doing it again?”

Brendan said he thinks the couple’s four children will ‘appreciate’ it.

“I think that’s why we’re just doing it so the girls can appreciate it. I want to do that — think that would be really nice, just the family, but then I’d like everyone to be there so we can get on it. I don’t think Al is as excited as I am,’ he said.

Alex admitted it would be hard to fit into a wedding while taking care of the couple’s four girls and her beauty empire.

“I think that’s why we’re just doing it so the girls can appreciate it. I want to do that — think that would be really nice, just the family, but then I’d like everyone to be there so we can get on it. I don’t think Al is as excited as I am,’ he said. In the photo: Brendan, Alex, Mia

Brendan and makeup artist Alex married in 2005, but divorced in 2014.

However, their separation was short-lived, and the couple reunited later that same year, before getting engaged in 2016.

Shortly after being crowned the winner of the 2016 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Brendan proposed to Alex – for the second time – in front of their children.

At the time, Brendan told radio host Dave Thornton on the Fifi and Dave show, “I was a little nervous, I didn’t think she’d say yes.”

“Because we’ve been married before and obviously divorced. It was very nice with the children there.’

I come after Alex lifted her oft-controversial marriage and divorce from Brendan in her recent memoir Silver Linings.
