“Do you find it easy to be stiff?” Brenda Edwards Leaves Loose Women Panel In Hysteria As She Asks Ashley Banjo A Cheeky Question About His Role In Wizard Of Oz

Brenda Edwards left the Loose Women panel in hysterics on Wednesday when she asked Ashley Banjo a cheeky question about his role in Wizard Of Oz.

The diversity star, 34, is playing the Tin Man in the upcoming stage production at the London Palladium.

Ashley discussed his role in the daytime ITV show, trying to describe how the fictional character played before being cut off by Brenda’s comedic gag.

“I don’t know how to describe myself as the tin man?” the dancer began.

Before the presenter, 54, wondered: ‘Do you find it easy to be stiff?’

The Loose Women panel burst into laughter at Brenda’s comment with Coleen, Nolan quipping, “I’m going home.”

“No no, I mean because you’re so runny and limp most of the time, you know what I mean,” Brenda continued.

While Ashley replied, “Being stiff has always come naturally to me. So, it’s something I’m good at.’

The dancer will star in the West End production alongside Jason Manford, who will play the Cowardly Lion.

In April, Ashley broke his silence after being separated from his wife for 16 years, insisting the kids are their priority.

The jury of Dancing On Ice, who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 with the group Diversity, announced in a joint statement in December that he and childhood sweetheart Francesca had made the “difficult decision” to part ways.

Together, the former couple share daughters Rose, four, and Micah, two, who Ashley says are now old enough to understand their dad’s rise to fame on the ITV show and enjoy rewatching his performances on YouTube.

And their fondness for the series is shared by Ashley, who still tunes in to the competition to discover new talent in the dance scene.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Ashley revealed that co-parenting his two children alongside Francesca and ensuring their happiness is his main goal in life.

He said, “Ultimately for me when it comes to life my children are my priority and taking care of my family and my babies and making sure they are happy and their life is good is number one.

“Now that they’re old enough, my kids love watching BGT performances on YouTube, they always get up at Diversity performances and want to watch their dad, which is super cute, and I love watching the old performances with them .’

Ashley also said he’s still making an effort to keep up with the action on BGT and even teased that Diversity might perform on the show’s live finale.
