Brenda was seen laughing at the photos in the London venue along with a number of guests, including her co-star Linda Robson.

In 2023, Brenda burst into tears as she emotionally recalled the time her son Jamal passed away.

With tears in her eyes, she described the moment her music producer son died at the age of 31 as “heartbreaking.”

Jamal rose to fame by founding the new music platform SB.TV, which boosted Ed’s career.

Brenda spoke candidly about his devastating death and her struggle with grief on Ashley Cain’s MTV show Faces, and movingly recounted being with her son when he died.

She spoke about the news of Jamal’s death being shared online just hours after his passing, admitting she will never get over the “rage” she felt when the announcement was taken away from her.

She said in the episode: “I was with Jamal when he passed, his sister and I, and I can say he was so peaceful, but it was a heartbreaking moment for me.”

The former X Factor star then revealed that news of Jamal’s death was already circulating on social media before she could make an announcement.

Brenda admitted she was “very angry” after reading the news on social media and said she doesn’t think she will ever be able to get over the “disrespect.”

She continued: ‘The only thing I didn’t like was that the announcement of his passing was taken away from me. I think people should have just had that respect for him and for me.

‘That is nobody’s business, if I want to say what I want to say, then I should be able to do that and I have the right to proclaim that. But that has been taken out of my hands.

“I was angry, very angry. It’s a shame because it took the moment from my sadness to ‘who did that?'” It wasn’t even 24 hours. This was the same night, it’s about 5-6 hours after.

“I can’t process this because social media is going crazy. That was a bit of disrespect, I don’t think I’ll ever come to terms with it.”
