This is the moment when a singer and his family were robbed by brazen attackers on Thursday night in the southeastern Brazilian city of Santo André.

Samba artist Péricles, 52, had just left his home with his wife, Lidiane Faria, and their three-year-old daughter, María Helena Fonseca, when one of the assailants pointed a gun at him.

A surveillance camera showed Péricles closing the front door as a gunman ran towards him.

The 6’3 singer’s wife could be seen walking away with their daughter and crossing the street as the suspect frisked him and took his bag.

Péricles put up no resistance to the gunman and closed the front passenger door before the thief entered the 2022 Land Rover Discovery, which is worth $58,000.

The Land Rover Discovery, worth $58,000, was found Friday morning 14 miles away in São Paulo.

Moments later, the assailant’s cohort pulled up next to Pericles’ truck in a Fiat Uno, then parked in front of him.

The assailant subsequently got out of Péricles’ vehicle and appeared to exchange words with the singer before he and his accomplice sped off.

Authorities located the abandoned and completely dismantled Land Rover Discovery about 14 miles away in the East Zone of São Paulo on Friday morning.

The assailants also took a birth certificate for Pericles’ daughter and her new school supplies.

Investigators impounded the vehicle and were looking for fingerprints in hopes of identifying the suspects.

Péricles’ management company, Farias, issued a statement on Friday, saying the singer and his family were “well and healthy.”
