Sasaki was originally from Belém, the capital and largest city of Pará, and in addition to his singing career, he was also an architect.
In 2017 he moved to the music industry and played with his band all over Pará. In 2021 he was a guest as the opening act for the legendary hardcore band CPM 22 from São Paulo.
Last October, he posted a heartwarming montage of his recent wedding to Mariana on Instagram, captioning it: “Eternity awaits us, my love.”
Several Brazilian media, including the newspaper Brazilian Correio and the magazine I amreported that the soaked fan’s hug caused his death.
However, other news sources, such as local newspaper Diário do Pará, claim he was playing guitar when the shock occurred.
After his death in Salinopolis last Saturday night, a wake was held on Sunday and he was buried the following day in his hometown.
The Hotel Solar released a statement on Sunday pledging “support” to Sasaki’s family regarding the “necessary arrangements.”

“A super charismatic man, his talent was absurd. He was the best voice and guitarist in Belém!” said his friend and fellow singer Adriano Freitas. “A great friend, a great family man, attentive to his friends and to those who liked his work.”
Freitas recalled, “Sasaki was known as the king of encores. Once at a private concert, they asked for so many encores that he played for 12 hours straight.”
Sasaki, Freitas said, “enjoyed his music so much and the fact that people were singing along with him that he must have had more fun than he did work during those 12 hours.”
Comedian Natto Almeida, who was friends with Sasaki and performed with him, remembered the late musician’s “good heart and politeness.”
