Goddy style: Hilarious moment Brazilian priest is interrupted by two dogs that try to climb for him during his shift
- Father Pierre Maurício’s service in Brazil was disrupted by some mischievous dogs
- The stray puppies have now been adopted by the priest after their brutal display
Two cheeky pups interrupted a church service in Brazil with their raunchy antics after climbing on stage and playing fights – before one mounted the other during a Catholic priest’s sermon.
The hilarious moment was caught on film and later shared by the priest who was left stunned by the dogs crashing at the gate along with his congregation.
Father Pierre Maurício was holding a service at Santa Rita Church in the town of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais state, last month when the stray dogs broke in and stole the show.
As he tried to speak about the role of the church during Carnival season, we see the pups coming to the front of the church.
Churchgoers and officials remain silent as the dogs happily leap to where the priest stood before the altar and begin to play at his feet.
Father Pierre tried to keep a straight face as the dogs grew louder, before one began to pounce on the other in full view of the faithful
The stunned priest was filmed placing his hand on his head in disbelief at the adorable pups’ inappropriate behavior

The perplexed priest puts his hand to his head in disbelief at the adorable pups’ inappropriate behavior.
But the priest couldn’t help but see the humor of the dogs and one hears them say: ‘They haven’t been baptized yet, that can’t be.’
As churchgoers chuckle, he continues, “What’s going on? Oh my God. Beloved Jesus. I just realized they weren’t baptized.
‘My children, you can’t do that here. Go to the woods,” he says to the playful couple.
One of the little girls sitting at the altar bursts into laughter and has to cover her mouth as she giggles at the two mischievous dogs.
She is not alone, as a man sitting behind Pierre, who appears to be a member of the clergy, laughs along with the priest’s jokes.
Others try to suppress laughter as the situation becomes more and more ridiculous, while another altar girl seems to keep her composure throughout.

After Instagram user Fabiene De Souza Mechler commented, “How beautiful, little angels! Adopt them, Father!’, the priest replied that he had already done so.
A smiling selfie shows him in the church after being swapped out of his alb with the two four-legged friends tucked under his arm.
The man of God is clearly a dog lover and also shared photos with a sweet French bulldog.
He is dressed in his dog collar in an instant and poses for a selfie with the cute four-legged friend sleeping in his arms.
After he posted the video of the strays to Instagram to his 100,000 followers, the clip has garnered more than 23,000 views and hundreds of comments.
A follower, Sara Guerra, laughed and said, “These things only happen to you, Father Pierre.”
In addition to being active on Instagram, Father Pierre also has a YouTube channel with 58,900 subscribers, where he offers “faith content to bring you closer to God.”
