A fitness influencer mother has been shot dead in front of her family in an alleged attempted robbery.
Luanne Murta Jardim dos Santos Martins was with her husband and their two-year-old son, Miguelzinho, when the suspects approached their family car and opened fire.
The 30-year-old who had more than 350,000 Instagram followers was hit in the shoulder and the bullet went into her heart.
Luanne, who has documented her weight loss on social media, was shot dead in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the evening of May 21.
The victim was rushed to Salgado Filho Municipal Hospital in Méier, but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.

Police are investigating the shooting as an attempted robbery.
The victim’s father, Atanael Jardim dos Santos, believes his daughter was targeted.
He said his daughter was followed by the suspects before they opened fire, adding: “This was not just a robbery, a robbery. It was murder.
“No one shoots at another car with the windows down.”
According to reports, the suspects first fired at the back of the vehicle before pulling up next to the car and firing again.
João Pedro Farche, Luanne’s husband, said their son was in the car at the time, but they were both unharmed in the shooting.
He wrote for Luanne’s followers, “I’m not very good at this. I want to thank everyone who sends many, many messages.
“I am fine, Miguelzinho (their son) is fine too.

On her Instagram page, Luanne shared fitness and weight loss tips after she lost more than 42 pounds.
She leaves behind two children aged 10 and 2. The investigation into her death is still ongoing.
