Brazilian football legend Ronaldo marries his model fiance Celina Locks in a romantic ceremony in Ibiza as he marries for the third time
Brazilian football star Ronaldo has married his model partner Celina Locks.
The newlyweds, who got engaged in January during a Caribbean getaway, got married in a church in Ibiza on Monday afternoon.
They married in the small village of Es Cubells in the southwest of the island, close to where the retired football star owns a house.
Celina, 33, who started dating the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan striker seven years ago, posted images of their happy day on her social media.
The model and her new husband said in matching Instagram posts: “Today we brought our families together for an intimate religious celebration, marking the start of a week of many celebrations.”

The couple both wore cream-colored outfits to say “I do” at the altar.
In addition to family members, guests included Ronaldo’s former Real Madrid teammate Julio Baptista.
Ronaldo, now chairman of Spanish second division club Real Valladolid, posed for selfies with fans before entering the church.
Yesterday’s wedding was the third for the former footballer, now 47.
He had his first child, Ronald, who is now 23, with ex-wife and former Brazilian footballer Milene Domingues.
After their marriage ended, he married Maria Beatriz Antony and the couple had two daughters: Maria Sofia, 14, and Maria Alice, 12.
He revealed he had had a vasectomy after it was confirmed in December 2010 that he was the father of Alexander, now 17, following an affair with waitress Michele Umezu.
Ronaldo later revealed to the Financial Times that sperm had been frozen and joked that he still had enough to form a football team.
He and his new wife, a successful businesswoman and model, regularly visit Ibiza and were pictured kissing in the sea there last month during an evening swim after their engagement early this year.
In March last year, Celina made the world believe she was pregnant with Ronaldo’s fifth child.
She posted a selfie photo of herself dressed in pink with her hand on her stomach and wrote, “A new phase of my life begins and with it a great responsibility.”
She then revealed that her new ‘baby’ was actually a perfume she launched as part of a range of beauty products.
A spokesperson for Ronaldo confirmed that the couple had chosen Ibiza for their wedding because of their love for the island, telling local press outside the church: “He came to get married in Ibiza because he loves the island and it is important to him.”
The newlyweds are reportedly planning a party for 400 guests at Ronaldo’s home in Cala Jondal on Friday.
