The Brazilian Football Federation has reached out Ronaldo Nazario to help convince Luis Enrique to fill his vacant management position.

Enrique was linked with the role after he was sacked from his role with Spain following their shock last-16 loss to Morocco in the 2022 World Cup.

Enrique is said to be more focused on joining a club next, but the Brazilian Football Federation is confident Ronaldo can change his mind, according to Sports world.

Tite parted ways with Brazil following their devastating loss to Croatia in the 2022 World Cup quarterfinals in Qatar.

Meanwhile, Enrique was sacked from his role as Spain coach after his team missed out on the World Cup following their loss to Morocco.

During their clash with Morocco, Spain failed to convert their dominance into goal possession and drew 0-0. Therefore, the match went to penalties.

Spain missed all three penalties despite the fact that Enrique put ‘homework’ on his squad of 1,000 penalties each before the World Cup.

Enrique could return to management this season or wait until the next term.

Brazil are eager to hire Enrique as their next manager, but the former Spain manager is said to be interested in joining a club like Atletico Madrid.

Enrique is said to have been shortlisted as a possible replacement for Diego Simeone if the long-serving manager leaves in 2023.

Simeone, who has spent more than 11 years on the bench, is under great pressure in Madrid after winning just seven league games this season and missing out on the Champions League group stage.

However, Brazil is confident that Ronaldo will be able to facilitate a deal with Enrique and move him away from Madrid.
