A man who was late for his appointment with a woman was shocked when she tried to punish him by making him pay for takeout meals for their children.

The video, shared on Twitter by raphousetvdocuments the much-debated situation in which the man tries to stop the woman while she begs for food for her children.

The internet was divided over the video, with many defending the mother, while others saying that even though it was rude of her to be late, it’s not her responsibility to buy them food.

‘So you don’t think you owe me after making me wait an hour and a half?’ the woman asks the man in the video.

The video has amassed more than 6.4 million views on Twitter.

The clip has amassed more than 6.4 million views on Twitter since it was posted in December.

It has also sparked a great debate with more than 18,000 people taking part.

The controversial video begins with the couple discussing the food the woman is ordering to go after finishing her own meals.

“You’ve already kept me waiting an hour and a half, so it’s for my kids,” the woman says as she asks who the food she’s ordering is for. ‘Yes, you owe me that.’

‘Aren’t they with their dad?’ the man asks in response.

Caught in the middle, the server taking his order cracks up at the man’s response. When the waitress returns, the woman on the date continues to order from her while the man contradicts her and tells her to bring her check.

Some have sided with the woman, saying it was the least she could do after making her wait.

Others have said that it is not their responsibility to cover the children’s meals.

‘Bring the check, I’m paying for my food and your food. I’m not going to pay for your children’s food,’ she says.

‘And my children’s food, yes you are,’ she replies pointedly.

The man repeats ‘no’ and tells her that he refuses to pay for the other meal as she turns away.

‘So you don’t think you owe me after making me wait an hour and a half?’ she asks.

The man agrees that he owes her something, saying that he will ‘get her out’, but again refuses to pay for the additional meals.

The waitress, whose name is Kiara, dealing with the commotion went to the back after the woman told her to order the food a third time.

“I’m not going to pay for all that,” the man says as his date orders a steak and potatoes for one of his children, an eight-year-old.

He’s eight years old and he eats steak? asks the man.

He also tries to order chicken tenders for his five-year-old son.

“You’re going to fire her here,” says the man regarding the food he reuses to pay.

As the table discussion continues, the man gets up and goes to the restaurant kitchen and yells ‘don’t place that order’.

“Don’t put those kids on my bill,” he says. Those are not my children.

A woman then yells at him, telling him to get out of the kitchen and your server will take care of it.

The debate between the man and the woman, even involving the waitress at times.

The man tells the woman that he owes her for being late, but he won’t pay for the extra meals while she continues to try to order.

On his way back to the table, he tells other restaurant patrons what the woman is trying to do, saying, “She’s trying to put me a bill and those aren’t my kids.”

“I’m late for the appointment, she’s trying to make me get something for her and her kids,” the man continues.

Immediately, a restaurant customer responds: ‘What’s wrong with that?’

The man responds, telling the restaurant that it’s his first date and that he’s never met the kids to which another person replies, “You’re late.”

‘Come on, aren’t you on my side?’ he says.. ‘Nobody’s on my side man, he’s cool though.’

The video ends with the two of them back at the table and the man asking for a to-go box.

It is not clear if he paid for the meals or if there will be a second date.

One person said that getting the kids’ meals was the “minimum minimum”

One Twitter user simply replied ‘no’ in response to the woman’s attempts.

The video sparked heated responses from people who see his perspective and hers.

‘Your children deserve better. He’s lucky you stayed because it sure as hell wouldn’t have been me,” said one woman, defending her mother in the video.

A verified Twitter user simply replied ‘no’ to the woman trying to get the man to pay.

‘l when you are dating/pursuing a woman with kids. You’re also dating her kids if that makes sense. making sure your kids have some food is the least that takes up their time. if she asks there should be no problem. Honestly, you should offer sometimes,’ said one person.

‘Did you just leave your kids at home hungry for a date with ONNA? Lmaooo’ wrote another.

Some Twitter users were divided on whether he should pay for the meal.

One person agreed that ‘real men’ would pay for the food, but said that a ‘real woman’ shouldn’t ask.

Some agreed that the man should have paid, but disagreed on how the situation played out.

‘REAL MEN wouldn’t have a problem with this. It is to protect and house women and children always,” wrote one woman.

“Okay, real men wouldn’t have a problem with that, but what they don’t understand is that a real woman wouldn’t even ask in the first place lol,” one person said.
