Brazen moment heartless woman robs a church during a baptism

The search is on for a woman who robbed a church while a baptism was taking place nearby.

The white woman entered the church on Sladen Street in Cranbourne, in Melbourne's south-east, at 2pm on November 19.

CCTV footage from the lobby shows the woman stealing envelopes that were 'placed on a table for (the) baptism'.

The woman slung a reusable shopping bag over her shoulder, then went to the church prep area and stole several other items.

The footage later shows her in a smaller room, rummaging through a series of cupboards and drawers.

Police believe she stole “keys, microphones, a bag, a cross and a set of walkie-talkies.”

At the time of the crime she was seen wearing 'white shoes, black trousers, a blue hat and a black top with white stripes on the sleeves'.
