Shocking footage has emerged of a teenager being chased by a pair of machete-wielding thugs as shocked students from a nearby school look on.
The terrifying moment was captured on camera as it unfolded Friday afternoon on Churchill Avenue in Braybrook, Melbourne’s west.
The 15-year-old was seen running away from the armed individuals who menacingly brandished the large knives as they gave chase.

The dramatic scene unfolded before the eyes of students from nearby Caroline Chisolm Christian College as they exited the school.
In the video, staff at the school could be heard telling students to go back to the school building.
‘Everyone inside please. Please come in,” a female employee said.
Students were forced to take cover inside when the boy and his attackers came across the street.
A Victoria Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia the teenager managed to escape his attackers.
“The men said something to the boy before pulling out machetes and threatening the victim,” the spokesman said.
“The boy ran away from the offenders and was chased for a short distance before the offenders gave up and ran towards Sunshine Railway Station.”
The teenager is said to be a student at Braybrook College.
One of the attackers threw a machete into the front garden of a nearby house on Ravenhall Street.
The police recovered the 40-centimeter knife on Saturday morning.

The latest incident is one of many in recent months, after another teenager was stabbed to death outside a bus stop by two schoolboys in May.
“It’s these gangs that come along and bully innocent kids,” she said.
“It’s not just Chisholm, it’s everywhere.”
The latest incident comes after Braybrook College was hit by several incidents of violence with locals saying the school had gone into lockdown three times in the past two months.
In May, another teenager was killed by two schoolboys who also carried machetes.
Sixteen-year-old Pasawm Lyhym, a former student at the school, was reportedly stabbed to death near Sunshine Station.
Daily Mail Australia does not suggest that the two incidents are related.
No arrests have been made. The police are still investigating the case.
