In a statement to parents, the school said it was working with local police to ensure there was “additional supervision” during the school’s basketball game and during class the next day.
“These types of incidents are taken very seriously and immediate action has been taken to ensure the safety of our students and staff,” said director Kim Budde’s statement.
Police were called to the scene and stationed at the school’s basketball court to provide “additional surveillance.”

“As always, the school board acts quickly when situations arise that endanger others and investigates to ensure a safe school environment.
‘Unfortunately, several students chose to film these incidents with their phones. It is important that students know that our school condemns the use of personal devices in this manner.
“Any student found sharing or posting video footage of these incidents will face the possibility of disciplinary action.”
The fight comes after an altercation at St. Louis Park High School in Minneapolis in which a “race-driven” brawl broke out between black and Somali students, leading to the arrest of at least two adults accused of taking part.
Abreeha Annalisa Smith, 22, and Latoys Renail Milon, 41, were arrested but later released without charge after fights broke out last month.
The first altercation occurred between a group of black and Somali students, it was claimed by CrimeWatchMinneapolisbut the situation escalated when parents, after becoming aware of the incident, allegedly joined the fray along with their children.
