There were chaotic scenes at the Epsom Derby on Ladies Day today as a brawl broke out between revelers.
Photos showed smartly dressed race goers throwing punches as things heated up at the annual sporting event in Surrey.
A man was seen with a bloody nose while fighting off another fighter wearing a suit and velvet loafers.
It’s not clear what sparked the brawl, which took place when Frankie Dettori rode Emily Upjohn to victory in the Dahlbury Coronation Cup.
The fights didn’t stop glamorous women from showing off their outfits and wizard hats as they soaked up the atmosphere at the famous racecourse.

An event spokesperson said after the fight: “Our event security team responded quickly and decisively to an on-course incident earlier this afternoon which resulted in the ejection of two racegoers.
‘Responsible behavior of spectators is a condition for attendance.
‘We have a clear code of conduct and have zero tolerance for any form of anti-social behaviour.’
It comes after it was revealed that the Derby organizers spent up to £150,000 on extra security measures to prevent the race from being disrupted by animal rights activists.
The Jockey Club, owner of Epsom Downs Racecourse, is prepared to deal with threats from campaign group Animal Rising following their failed attempts to halt the Grand National in April.
The activists have described the course as “uncontrollable” and predicted that “up to 1,000” protesters could attend the race this year.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain today, The Jockey Club CEO Nevin Truesdale also confirmed that the organizers had obtained a court order that will make it easier to prosecute those who intend to disrupt the race.

Activists who enter the track, throw objects or disrupt the race can be fined or imprisoned.
Truesdale shared details of the extra security measures planned for the afternoon, saying: “You will see what will probably be the most important security operation the Derby has ever seen.
A lot more security, a lot more police, we have extra fences in certain areas that we wouldn’t normally use.’
Animal Rising has spoken out about a planned off-track rally, which will include fun family activities in addition to protests, including an eggless spoon race.
A spokesman for the group, Ben Newman, said that: “There will be disruption that causes the conversation we’ve been having for the past few months.”
Campaigners will try to disrupt events during the summer flat racing season and could target the first Royal Ascot of King Charles’ reign later this month.
