Bravo retooling RHONY: Legacy to be like Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip… with Ramona Singer!

Bravo would adapt RHONY: Legacy to be more similar to their thriving Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip franchise, according to Page six.

Sources told the outlet that the network is trying to bring back its RHONY reboot, as the highly anticipated revival series reportedly fell apart during contract negotiations with the Housewives.

The original plan was to bring back MVPs from The Big Apple Franchise for a full season of traditional Housewives drama, but now the strategy is to corral the fan favorites for a short period of time.

And insiders say the one and only Ramona Singer, 66, is coming along for the ride after stating she didn’t feel like being a part of RHONY: Legacy.

“I don’t want to do the show anymore,” Singer said Page six in November. “It’s not for me right now.”

It still has a heartbeat: Bravo is said to be redesigning RHONY: Legacy to more closely resemble their blossoming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip franchise, according to Page Six. But now it looks like the infamous Singer Stinger is back on board, as the iconic housewife’s legendary tenure was called into question after season 13 collapsed under accusations of racism.

And while Ramona returns for more “turtle time,” another OG cast member is reportedly leaving.

Jill Zarin’s involvement has gone up in flames after she reportedly went to war with Bravo executives during contract negotiations, resulting in the original iteration of RHONY: Legacy dying on the operating table.

But fans can take comfort in knowing that RHONY mainstays Luann de Lesseps, 57, and Sonja Morgan, 59, have landed slots in the new series.

Polarizing former cast member Kelly Bensimon, 54, has also landed a spot after a controversial three-season run in which she went to war with Skinnygirl mogul Bethenny Frankel and self-destructed on “Scary Island.”

And get the martini shakers ready for Dorinda Medley, 58, because the Lady of Blue Stone Manor has finally taken an apple back after being put ‘on hiatus’ in 2020.

Contracts have reportedly been sent to the ladies, and Bravo executives are crossing their fingers that all is well.

There’s no word yet on whether the show will air on Bravo like the original RHONY or its sister streamer Peacock like RHUGT.

Bravo is currently gearing up to launch their RHONY overhaul as the network recasts the series with a new slate of different housewives.

During a segment of What What Happens Live in January, Housewives impresario Andy Cohen teased RHONY fans with his impressions of the new cast.

“They’re super fashionable,” Cohen said. “The things they argue about are just as ridiculous as the early RHONY.

“I think it’s going to be a different show. It’s so hard because everyone is going to compare it to RHONY, which was so perfect. And I hope this is perfect in a completely different way.”
