Braunwyn Windham-Burke of RHOC files for divorce from husband Sean

Former Real Housewives Of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke has filed for divorce from her husband Sean Burke.

On Wednesday People claimed she filed the papers Monday in Orange County, California, citing irreconcilable differences.

She also requested spousal support and physical custody of their children, the site claimed. The couple have seven children: Bella, 21, Rowan, 19, Jacob, 16, twins Curran and Caden, nine, Koa, seven, and Hazel, four.

This comes more than a year after they began a “trial separation” in July 2021.

Also this week, the reality TV siren was seen cuddling up with a potential new love interest, Jennifer Spinner, at the Serena DC Presents My Transparent Life in Los Angeles. She came out as a lesbian in 2020.

People spoke to Braunwyn about her decision to file for divorce.

“I will always have so much love for the family that we have created and that will continue to thrive and prosper,” Windham-Burke told the site.

Braunwyn has requested that the two share custody of their children. And she also asked if she could get physical custody and Sean visitation rights.

She also wants spousal support from Sean. Another request is a “division of personal property” and that Sean “pay her legal fees,” the site added.

Sean and Braunwyn got married in the year 2000.

In October 2021, Braunwyn explained how the couple plans to co-parent their seven children during the “trial separation.”

The former couple told fans they “put our kids first” and said: “What we’re doing now is really healthy for them.

“We really want to do what’s best for us – we’re family, we’ve been together for 26 years,” continued Braunwyn, who also recently revealed she is sober after struggling with alcohol.

Windham-Burke previously spoke about why she was in no rush to officially cut ties with Sean, saying: “We’ve been together for 26 years, so we’re in no rush to get a divorce.

“Eventually, one of us may want to remarry, and of course it would.”
