Brassic star Neil Ashton has revealed he has asked co-star Michelle Keegan to invite her husband Mark Wright to the comedy show.
The actor, 53, plays Davey in the Sky series alongside Michelle, 36, who plays Erin Croft.
In an interview with The mirrorNeil said he’s going to ask Michelle to get Mark involved in a cameo, but he’s worried he’s “too handsome.”
He said: ‘Michelle is one of the sweetest people. And Mark too, they’re so good together, those two. They really have wonderful chemistry.
‘I’ve known Michelle for a long time, so when you hear about someone you always hope they’ll be nice. Did he ever have a cameo? I don’t know, I’ll message Michelle and ask her. But he’s too handsome, way too handsome.’

Neil went on to say, “I feel very blessed to be on the show. It contains real slapstick comedy, but also very nice storylines. And we have so much fun while filming. There are a lot of body cases, we are all guilty of it.
‘I have often had moments where my shoulders started to shake during filming. Every year we have a wrap party with a blooper reel, which is always hilarious.’
Brassic will reportedly be axed after the next series as the cast look to leave the Sky comedy to work on other projects.
The show, which stars Michelle as Erin Croft, launched its fifth season last week, with a special in December.
But a new report has revealed that the show is ‘unlikely’ to return after next year as producers work on a sixth and final installment.
A Sky insider told The Mirror: ‘It is highly unlikely that Brassic will return after the sixth series next year. It has had incredible success, but the feeling among some of the cast is that it is time to move on.
‘Ryan considered leaving after series five but was persuaded to continue by Sky bosses. Michelle also finds it harder to organize her schedule around filming because she is in high demand for so many projects.”
However, a Sky spokesperson has denied that the show will end after series six, telling MailOnline: ‘Brassic has not been cancelled. The show remains one of Sky’s best-performing original comedies. With a very successful launch of series five last week, it is a firm favorite with our customers.
‘A growing number of them continue to discover this award-winning series on-demand as it airs on Sky Max on Thursdays at 10pm.’

David Livingston, executive producer of Brassic, Calamity Films, added: “The series is not being cancelled. We’ve just released series five and the ratings are through the roof with a Christmas special and a sixth series in production. As the Brassic character Farmer Jim might say. ‘This is horse #*!!.’
Original comedy Brassic follows Vinnie O’Neill (Joseph Gilgun) and his five friends, including Michelle’s single mother.
The group struggles to make ends meet in Hawley’s fictional town and often resorts to petty crime for money.
When Dylan’s girlfriend Erin wants to make a fresh start in a new city, Dylan is torn between following her or staying with the friends he considers brothers.
Brassic is planning a Christmas special of the hit comedy to air this year, with the cast seen on set last month.
A source told The Sun about the festive special: ‘It feels like it’s been a long time coming, but everyone is happy that Brassic is getting a Christmas special after four years on the box.
‘It’s going to be a foul-mouthed, festive, knees-up Brassic style – forget your fairy tale, it’ll be more like Billy Bob Thonrton’s Bad Santa and The Grinch than your schmaltzy It’s A Wonderful Life.
‘The special episode will be filmed in Manchester and Lancashire next month and the cast are super excited to show what a Christmas in Hawley looks like for the gang of criminal misfits.
“There will also be some surprises in the mix, including a one-off casting of a big name.”

The BAFTA-nominated series began in 2019, when season four of the show was released on Sky Max and Now TV last August.

The actress said it had been ‘chaotic chaos’ working with her co-stars on the Sky drama series, sweetly adding that she felt ‘so lucky’ to be part of the ‘special’ show.
Beaming alongside co-stars such as Aaron Heffernan and Lee Mack, who joined the show for the new series, others showed her off for some snaps with the production crew.
