Brandon Miller, wealthy real estate mogul and socialite’s husband dead at 43
New York real estate magnate Brandon Miller died last week at the age of 43.
Miller was a principal partner at Real Estate Equity Corporation and the husband of Candice Miller, a socialite and founder of the lifestyle blog Mama & Tata.
He was buried last weekend at the New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon.
The father of two died Wednesday, according to cemetery records, which were first listed by The real deal.
Miller’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed by his family.

He was reportedly in the intensive care unit of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for several days before his death.
Miller was also related to fashion blogger Arielle Charnas, Candice’s cousin.
Candice started her fashion and lifestyle blog Mama and Tata in 2016 with her sister Jenna Crespi and has since taken over most of the business.
She is also the co-founder and marketing director of the vintage-inspired clothing line Black Iris.
The socialite was part of Ivanka Trump’s social circle in Miami; the two were photographed together on the beach in 2021.

Candice is a familiar face on the Hamptons social scene, as is her cousin, controversial fashion blogger Arielle Charnas of Something Navy, who also has her own apartment in the same exclusive Miami building where Ivanka lived.
Miller’s father Michael Miller founded REEC in 1978.
The company has developed more than 2 million square feet in the US and is responsible for several high-profile projects in Manhattan.
According to Real Deal, the family has been sued multiple times for alleged financial misconduct.
Michael Miller, who died in 2016, was sued in 2019 over allegations that he directed his assistant to forge his son’s signature on several loans. That lawsuit was settled.

In 2022, TD Bank filed a lawsuit against Miller, his mother and his sister. The three defendants allegedly made fraudulent wire transfers to prevent the bank from collecting $2.1 million in damages from his mother.
Another lawsuit, filed in May, alleges Miller owed more than $55,000 in dockage fees to a marina in Aquebogue, New York.
