The mother-of-one continued, “It’s such an honor that we have so many incredible female founders who have come on the show. We are very excited to partner not only with Bloomberg, but several other outlets to bring these messages out.
She added, “Just getting the chance to sit down with these incredible women who fought through the big obstacles; they’ve been silenced in boardrooms, they’ve been cut off, interrupted, and shut down, and they’ve faced so many challenges.
‘We know that women today only receive about two to three percent of all venture capital. It’s insane. At the same time, you see such incredible results from female founders.
“It was so inspiring to be a part of this incredible movement and see the women not only showing up for the show, but rallying behind our incredible female founders.”
Reflecting on some of the best advice given so far while making the show, Rachel said, “I think my favorite piece of advice was to just start today.” Don’t be afraid, don’t wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow is not promised. Now just show up and give it your all.”
She continued, “Another is to narrow your focus and win. Seeing these women being so focused on downsizing and therefore winning… I think that’s really important. That’s what I’m personally focused on right now in my business, and in my life in general.”
Rachel continued, “Just being willing to say no to things so I can say yes to something else. You have to realize that every time you say yes to something, you are saying no to something else. So make sure you are really aware of your choices.’
The founder of LaunchPreneur also shared how she heard other women in business talk about the ways they had to “crash and push through walls and barriers and glass ceilings that you didn’t think possible,” while advising others to prepare for such challenges. obstacles.
Recalling previous encounters where men in the room had automatically assumed her husband and co-founder, Rick Schirmer, was running the show, Rachel explained that she found a way to use it to her advantage.
‘I used to get discouraged about that. It’s actually quite common and it’s sad,” she explained. “What I’m doing now is using that time to step back and read the room. I take the time to look: “What should I do here? What can I move?”. I can show up with more intention.”

Rachel shared a selection of items she calls her “Queen List” that she turns to when she’s having a rough day.
‘I take a walk, I do lavender, I listen to my music. I paint, I draw, I read positive words. I’ve read the Bible,” she remarked. “There are certain things I do that put me back in control.”
She continued, “MeIf you don’t, you may lose control and other things will suffer.” For me, I move so fast because I have to. I don’t feel I can afford a bad day and why should I have one?’
The star noted that some women often feel that where they come from in life can be a barrier to starting a business, but the star called her own career journey a sign to never hold yourself back.
Raised in a trailer park in Georgia, Atlanta, Rachel endured experiences and abuse that became part of her relentless motivation in life.

After doing internal work to shift her focus to her goal, Rachel now hopes she can be an inspiration to others.
She explained, “I’m really plugged into my ‘why.’ I do believe that the reason I somehow got out of the caravan park, which isn’t a bad place to be anyway, is because it was important to me.
“I wanted to do something for my life that I could share with my children one day. It was very important to me to be able to build something for myself.”
Rachel continued, “The reason I was able to succeed is because I have a greater purpose in my life.”
The star later added, “I think I owe it to myself to say that what I’ve been through is not my future, but I can use what I’ve been through to inspire others.” I show up and I do something that matters, that makes a difference, that has a purpose.
