Brandi Glanville warned by top surgeon to stop going under the knife following facial disfigurement

One of the top plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills has urged Brandi Glanville to stop going under the knife until she finds the cause of her facial disfigurement.

Glanville – who was previously diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema – shared a photo earlier this month and many branded her unrecognizable, mainly due to her deflated, haggard cheeks.

The 52-year-old has said she wants more surgeries to fix her sagging face, but board-certified surgeon Dr. Jonathan Sykes – who has not personally dealt with Glanville – said the embattled reality star should focus on identifying the source of the problems. problem first.

“No treatment should be done until it is very clear what the original process was and that it will not continue,” he explained.

So far, Glanville claims to have spent more than $70,000 trying to determine the cause of her facial damage.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star believes this could be the result of a parasite.

While Dr. While Sykes said it is impossible to determine whether Glanville was suffering from a parasite without personally treating her, he said whatever happened “has caused a significant amount of skin and subcutaneous tissue atrophy.”

The failed star Dr. Terry Dubrow recently dismissed Glanville’s “parasite” theory, telling TMZ that her disfigured skin and sunken cheeks were likely the result of an infection.

One of the top plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills has urged Brandi Glanville to stop going under the knife until she can find the cause of her facial disfigurement.

Dr. Sykes said that once Glanville can pinpoint exactly what is causing her facial disfigurement and be sure it is no longer an ongoing problem, the best cosmetic treatment would be a combination of creating volume, either with her own fat or with something else. otherwise to add volume to her face and possibly lift the subcutaneous tissue.”

Registered nurse and cosmetic injector Alex Pike also urged Glanville to refrain from further aesthetic treatments.

“While I cannot comment on specific aesthetic procedures, I would recommend suspending them for the time being – especially as the underlying cause of Brandi’s concerns has not yet been determined,” she warned.

Pike suggested that Glanville focus on her health and well-being while trying to diagnose the cause of her vision problems.

“When the body is under stress or the immune system is compromised, it can sometimes respond in ways that affect skin health and overall well-being,” she said.

‘In situations like these it’s important to go back to basics and focus on fundamental wellbeing.

‘As a nurse and creator of the Inside Out Beauty program, I emphasize the importance of anti-inflammatory foods – such as salmon, leafy greens, blueberries and turmeric – in combination with hydration, good sleep, gentle exercise and stress management. ‘

She continued, “These simple yet powerful steps help reduce inflammation, support the immune system, and give the body space to heal naturally.

Glanville recently detailed how her struggle with her facial disfigurement has affected her life and mental health.

‘It’s hard to hide at Christmas, when everyone is having their parties. It’s depressing. It just hurts my brain and my heart,” she explained Page six.

The mother of two continued: “The pain is more mental than anything because I have been hiding and going through a deep, deep depression.

“Even if I could work right now, I wouldn’t be able to right now. So it’s been a very tough two years for me.’

She recently revealed she is back on antibiotics after noticing her face ‘sagging’ while taking a break from the medication.

‘I prefer [my face] if it’s a little swollen, to be honest,” she said.

She even revealed that she sometimes wears a “mask” around her two sons, Mason Edward, 21, and Jake Austin, 17, so they don’t have to see her “scary” face.

“They tried to calm me down and said I looked normal and fine, but I knew better,” she recalls.

“To be honest, I scared them a few times. They said, “What’s going on?” [My face] It went from being very thick and swollen to now feeling like I was sinking into it.”

At this point she noted that she “so desperately” wants answers about her condition and doesn’t “know” if there is a parasite in her face or what is causing her symptoms.

“You could do whatever you want to me, and I would be fine with it,” she added. ‘I’ve had days where I looked normal, not weeks. I wish. But it comes and goes.’

Glanville stated that “the right side of” her face was so swollen that it looked like she had “a very large meatball on the right side” of her cheek.

“Anytime I get chills, it’s usually an infection,” she continued. ‘Then I got the tapping in my ear, and whatever was moving around in my face started moving around again. And it’s starting to sink in again.’
