Brandi Glandville reveals doctor’s shock theory about the REAL reason her face is now unrecognizable

Brandi Glanville says doctors suspect her facial condition could be caused by a parasite hopping around her face.

On Sunday, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 52 — who suffers from stress-induced angioedema — revealed that she has been frequently hospitalized due to her ongoing health problems and has incurred significant expenses as a result.

After several medical appointments, several doctors told the reality star that she may be suffering from a ‘jumping parasite’ [her] sight.’

‘What happened? I wish I knew that I have been in and out of the hospital this past year. I’ve spent almost every dollar I have trying to find out. Some doctors say I have a parasite jumping around my face. Some say it is stress-induced edema,” she said in an interview X after.

But Glanville had her own theory: “I personally say it’s Bravo,” she claimed.

The blonde bombshell first caused concern on Saturday when she shared an unrecognizable selfie showing off the deformity of her facial skin.

According to the Mayo Clinic, angioedema is a reaction similar to hives that causes swelling in the deeper layers of the skin, often around the face and lips.

However, she didn’t mention the condition in her post and simply wrote next to her photo, “Sick!”

In her selfie, she was bareheaded and had her blonde hair pushed back with glasses on her head.

In July, she also shared a photo of the severe facial swelling in a tweet, saying the skin condition is “why I feel miserable and depressed.”

“I’m not even going to share the photo of when it sinks,” she wrote on X at the time.

“Stress will kill you,” she continued. ‘How are your assets? Take care of yourselves folks, thanks Bravo. I couldn’t even work right now if I wanted to.’

In January, she told Entertainment Tonight that the facial disfigurement started after the alleged incident with Caroline Manzo on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

“I’ve had some health issues that have affected my ability to speak,” she told the newspaper earlier this year.

“My ability to taste food, my face actually swelled up, like I was going to go into anaphylactic shock, go into anaphylactic shock all the time and I saw seven doctors and their response to that was it was stress-induced angioedema.”

After a tumultuous year, Glanville said her health deteriorated for the first time in August and her lips and face swelled unexpectedly, accompanied by anaphylactic shock.

Two months later, she said she was hospitalized because her condition worsened and her son had to call 911.

“I was on the phone with Andy Cohen… and I just got some really disappointing news and I couldn’t handle it,” she recalls.

‘Just the stress, my eyes swelled shut, my hands [swelled],” she continued.

“I lay down before I fell, but an ambulance came and I spent two days in hospital trying to find out what was going on,” she said.

“It has affected every aspect of my life,” she added. “Everyone says, ‘You look great.’ I’m like, “I don’t feel like I should feel, I don’t look like I used to look.”

She pointed to the stress caused by the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s allegations of sexual misconduct.
