Bradman Best: Watch the chilling moment footy star tries to kiss his teammate’s wife on live TV – and doesn’t get the reaction he was hoping for

Newcastle footy star Bradman Best has been embarrassed on live TV in a hair-raising altercation with NRLW chief executive Millie Boyle following his team’s victory on Friday night.
The 22-year-old Knights center was being questioned by Boyle – who also works for Channel Nine – after the 30-10 win over the Dragons when events took a chilling turn.
When their conversation ended, Boyle said, “Thank you very much, Braddy,” and tapped him on the shoulder.
Best responded by trying to grab Boyle by the waist and going over to kiss her on the cheek, after which she pulled back a little and told him, “Go put on a shirt and, um… we’ll talk to someone. otherwise. Congratulations on the victory.’
The incredibly awkward exchange could lead to some interesting conversations in the Knights’ locker room, as Boyle is married to Best’s teammate Adam Elliott, who also played in the game.
Before that, Boyle had greeted Best with a kiss on the cheek and asked him about the shocking weather the match was being played in, with heavy rain making the playing surface look more like a swimming pool than a football field.
“Have you ever played in such conditions?” she asked.
Best replied, “I was just telling the guys I don’t think I’ve ever played in that kind of weather before. It was intense, but I’m happy we got the points.’
Boyle and Elliott became the NRL’s ultimate power couple when they married in October last year.

Their romance got off to a rocky start when they were kicked out of a Gold Coast restaurant in August 2021 for kissing in the men’s toilets, with the incident leading to Elliott losing his contract with the Bulldogs.
The pair – who were childhood friends growing up on the NSW south coast – confirmed they were a couple in October that year.
Their relationship lasted long distance for a while when Elliott played for Canberra and Boyle played for Newcastle.
There were heartwarming scenes as the Knights won the 2022 NRLW grand final and Elliott cried tears of pride in the stands as she gave a speech to fans after the win.
Elliott got down on one knee during a romantic beachside proposal in October 2022, using a beautiful ring that once belonged to his great-grandmother.
Boyle and Elliott’s romance got off to a controversial start in 2021, but they are now Footy’s biggest power couple after marrying last October
“I can’t wait to marry the absolute love of my life,” a clearly ecstatic Boyle posted on her social media account after the proposal.
Elliott, 29, is no stranger to off-field controversy and firmly believes his relationship with the Roosters prop has provided the life balance he craved.
“Millie has the biggest influence on my personal happiness right now. How much she invested in my family and how much she helped raise my son (from a previous relationship), it means the world to me,” Elliott said.
“I probably don’t give her enough credit, she’s a very special person… when she tries to explain everything she does for me, it makes me a little emotional.”
