Bradley Cooper walked out of a press conference for his film Maestro in New York on Thursday afternoon to talk to the school nurse about his six-year-old daughter Lea.
Cooper, who has joint custody of Lea with ex Irina Shayk, was 20 minutes into a press conference to promote the Netflix film – in which he plays composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein – when he looked at his phone and said: 'Sorry. The school nurse just called me.
'Can I leave the room for a moment to call them back, then you can continue. Is that good?'
When the 48-year-old returned, he explained: “I have to go to school to do something with Lea that is necessary… I have to apply something that they don't allow… I have to do it, so it's about ten minutes walk.'

The Silver Linings Playbook star held a cup of coffee while wearing a black puffer, gray pants and black and red Nikes.
Meanwhile, his daughter was animated as she walked alongside her dad in a white top with light blue printed trousers and a long navy blue puffer coat.
A few days earlier, young Lea made her red carpet debut with her famous father.
While Cooper looked dapper in a three-piece navy blue suit with a white shirt and black tie, his daughter wore a sweet dress.
Lea delivered her own red carpet style in a leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with sparkling gold ballet flats.
The youngster had her blonde hair pulled back, side-swept bangs and even wore a red manicure for her special evening.
She carried a red bag and posed for photos with the film's cast, including Maya Hawke, Matt Bomer, Sarah Silverman and Carey Mulligan.
