Bradley Cooper was seen embracing fatherly duty as he held hands with his daughter, Lea, as the two enjoyed a leisurely stroll through New York City on Saturday.

The 48-year-old Oscar-nominated actor opted for casual comfort as he stepped out for some fresh air with the five-year-old, whom he shares with former supermodel Irina Shayk.

The former couple previously dated from 2015 until their official split four years later in 2019. However, the duo were spotted out together with Lea earlier last month as they are co-parenting.

The star donned a pair of gray pants along with a forest green button-down that was buttoned up nicely in the gloomy weather.

The Hangover alum also donned a pair of black sneakers to make walking around the Big Apple simple and easy.

Bradley also donned a black Oslo beanie that partially concealed her wavy light brown locks, and donned a pair of gold-rimmed sunglasses for a stylish touch.

His left hand held tight to Lea’s right as he gently guided her through the bustling streets as they enjoyed quality father-daughter time.

The five-year-old also donned a green jacket along with green patterned pants for the brief weekend outing.

On his back, Cooper carried a large semi-transparent backpack that appeared to contain a stuffed animal.

In June of last year, the A Star Is Born actor opened up about fatherhood when he appeared as a guest on the smart podcast.

At that point, he gushed, ‘Fatherhood. I mean, everything changed. Everything is shaded, or brought to glorious colors, by the fact that I get to be the father of a wonderful human being.’

He also explained that as an actor, you can experience “breakthrough” moments on set, but when it comes to parenthood, he admitted, “You have 40 of those moments every day with your child.” That’s that level of joy.

Bradley stepped into the role of a father when he welcomed his daughter into the world with his then-girlfriend, Irina, in 2017.

Recently, Bradley and Irina have been seen spending time together with their daughter, and a source told her page six late last year, in November, the actor “is on board to expand his family.”

The source further informed the outlet that “they are trying to get pregnant,” but explained that “marriage is probably not on the table.”

In September 2022, the two enjoyed a family trip together, with a separate source also telling the publication at the time: “It was a real family getaway and they are considering getting back together.” Irina would like her daughter to have a brother.

Also in November of last year, a source told People that, ‘Irina is very happy to spend time with Bradley. She loves him very much.

‘After they broke up, she missed him. She is very proud of how they have been able to get along and share the parenting of her beautiful daughter.

While enjoying parenthood, Bradley and Irina have also been focusing on their own careers. The supermodel has been spotted during Paris Fashion Week, which ends on March 7.

The Russian-born star has not only enjoyed the stunning city, but has also walked for luxury fashion brands, including Vivienne Westwood.

Cooper has been hard at work on some upcoming projects, such as the Maestro movie, which is currently in its post-production stage.

Last year, during the summer, the actor was seen on the set of the big apple filming several scenes with his co-stars, like Carey Mulligan.

The project’s premise is based on real-life composer Leonard Bernstein and the ‘love complex’ he had with his wife, Felicia, ‘from the moment they met in 1946 at a party and continuing through two commitments, a 25 year of marriage and three children’, according to a Synopsis from IMDB.

With the film still in its production stages, a set release date has yet to be announced, but it is scheduled to open later this year in 2023.
