Bradley Cooper signs podcast deal with iHeartPodcasts to bring ‘real people telling real stories that inspire and motivate’ to listeners

Bradley Cooper is taking his talents to the world of podcasts in a new deal with iHeartPodcasts, the podcast division of iHeartMedia.

The deal was made through his production company, Lea Pictures, and is a multi-year deal to bring “real people telling real stories” to audiences.

The Alias ​​alum – who recently shared a story about raising his daughter Lea – will be the executive producer for all projects under the deal.

“Sharing stories that inspire, motivate and resonate is one of the reasons I started Lea Pictures, and I’m excited to partner with iHeartPodcasts to bring them to life for millions of listeners,” said the 48-year-old. Cooper in a statement Variety.

“In our shows, real people will tell real stories, and we knew iHeart was the perfect partner to reach as many people as possible. I look forward to creating even more extraordinary stories together,” the statement continued.

The Good Stuff podcastwhich launched on July 3 is the first project in the new deal.

The podcast is hosted by Jacob Schick, a Marine Corp veterinarian and CEO of One Tribe Foundation, and his wife Ashley Schick.

The podcast aims to “showcase individuals who have made a positive impact through their acts of kindness, successful careers, businesses and military service.”

One Tribe is committed to raising awareness and preventing suicide among military veterans, first responders, and medical personnel.

“Bradley is one of the great creators of our time, reinventing and reinventing how great stories are told – across multiple genres and formats,” said Conal Byrne, CEO of iHeartMedia Audio Group.

“We couldn’t be more proud and excited to introduce his expertise, vision and approach to the exploding medium of podcast with this partnership.”

News of the deal comes after the Silver Linings Playbook actor spoke about parenting daughter Lea, six, during a video clip from an upcoming episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge, which was shared by People.

“I mean, you learn from your predecessor’s mistakes and I’ll make tons of money that hopefully Lea will learn from and then be rigorous for myself to grow,” he shared.

“To help her with all my bulls**t,” he added.

“Isn’t that one of the best things you can do for Lea?” Grylls, 49, early.

In the clip, Cooper and Grylls were seen hanging off the edge of a canyon in the Wyoming Basin as the actor shared that he wished his father — who died of lung cancer in 2011 — was still alive.

“Yes, I wish my dad was there to enjoy it more, but we all recognize how lucky we were,” he said.
