Siobhan O’Dowd admitted she was apprehensive after seeing the singer, 61, burst into tears following Matt Hancock’s arrival in the jungle.

It comes after George collapsed when he admitted he would be leaving the ITV reality show following the ex-health secretary’s arrival on Wednesday.
The Culture Club star said that if his mother Dinah had died of Covid, he would definitely leave the Australian jungle and leave the program.
However, he didn’t want Matt “to ruin this experience” and revealed that he’s “not good at hiding” how he really feels about someone.

Speaking to Scarlette Douglas, the hitmaker explained his anger: “You know, when the pandemic started, my mom was in the hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die.
‘I tweeted the Greenwich hospital: ‘Please take care of my mother.’ I used my name, I thought, “Please take care of my mother.” And they did, she was fine.
“I feel like I don’t want to sit here like I’m having fun with him.

“It’s hard for me because, you know, if anything had happened, if my mom had gone, I wouldn’t be here right now. I would have gone when he came in.’
The Karma Chameleon singer, who was visibly upset, later took to the Bush Telegraph after finding himself conflicted and worried about staying in the jungle.
Boy George continued: ‘If I had lost my mother, I would go. And I feel a little selfish, you know, just a little… everybody is so nice to him and I was just like Jesus, what are we going to do?
“I don’t want to spoil this experience for myself. I’m not good at hiding what I feel. Especially when it’s that strong.’
He said to Scarlette: ‘The start of the pandemic, my mother was in the hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die. I don’t wanna sit here like I’m having fun with him’

Boy George told Sue Cleaver that he thought Matt looked “super nervous” because he could “hear it in his voice” when he first entered the camp.
The actress wisely told the singer, “I think you’re going to sleep on it tonight. Why he came in and what he’s doing here is not our responsibility, nor is it ours to record.’
Viewers were quick to say on Twitter that they “can’t wait” to see Boy George express his true feelings to Matt after saying he wants to leave.
