Boy George’s Grade II listed mega-mansion Hampstead Heath, which features a skylight in the bathroom and a Buddhist meditation tower, is on sale for a whopping £17 million.

The Culture Club star – who appeared in the latest series I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here – says goodbye to the gothic Italianate mansion in leafy north London.

The stunning five-bedroom house was recently featured in an episode of the new Channel 4 series Selling Super Houses, in which eight aspiring estate agents compete for the ‘job of a lifetime’ as they try to sell great properties.

Originally known as The Logs, it was built in 1868 at a cost of £9,000 (equivalent to £1.3 million today) for engineer and developer Edward Gotto.

It features triple ceilings, a beautiful grand staircase and stained glass windows.

The singer, who bought the house in the eighties after the success of his hit Do You Real Want To Hurt Me? from 1982, described it as a ‘unique location’.

Fellow celebrity celebrity Sam Smith also moved in alongside Boy George in 2015.

The average price of a property sold in Hampstead between 2021 and 2022 was £1,806,748. According to property website Zoopla, this compares to £327,693 for the country as a whole.
