A resident who was one of the first on the scene said she held Dylan as if he were “one of her own.”

“It was very sad, a terrible situation… I held him like he was mine, it was a very sad night,” she said.

Dylan’s brother Jamie visited the scene on Thursday, where he told Nine News his loved one ‘was the most loving and caring person’.

“Everyone loved him, and for good reason. He had the sweetest soul,” Jamie said.

‘I love you Dylan. Everyone misses you so much.”

“These are children in the prime of their lives looking forward to a future and if they make a split-second decision or if they don’t have control, they could lose their lives,” he said.
